A client asked for a pitch deck. I sent a drawing of a spider and an invoice for looking at their problem.

Great connecting last week. As discussed, we need a one-pager and a 12-slide deck positioning Northfork as the regional leader in “human-centered gravel.” Friday EOD is hard. Brand guidelines attached (48MB). Please use the approved teal.

Please find attached a drawing of a spider. I have labeled one of the legs “synergy” and another “gravel,” which I feel covers the brief.
I did not use the teal. The teal made me tired.
Invoice for four hours of looking is in the second attachment. The looking was of a high standard.

Gareth this is a JPEG of a spider. It is not a deck. There are no slides. One of the legs is just a line that goes off the page.
Also the invoice is for $2,400.
The line that goes off the page is the part of the strategy you cannot see yet. That is called vision.
I can convert the spider into twelve slides if you would like. Each slide will be a closer crop of a different leg. Please advise if you have a preferred leg.
The invoice remains.

We showed the spider in the Monday standup. Two people clapped because they thought it was a joke. One person asked if we were being sued.
Please void the invoice.
I will not void the invoice. Clapping is a metric. Confusion is also a metric. You have two metrics, which is more than most of my clients.
I have attached a second spider. This one is sitting down, to indicate listening.
